Catch-up surgeries at Cecilia Makiwane celebrate 1 year.

It's been one year since Project Flamingo launched catch-up surgery lists at Cecilia Makiwane Hospital in East London.

Thanks to the hard work of all the doctors, nurses, porters, ward, and theatre staff we were able to provide 5 patients with their timely breast cancer surgery on the day, one year ago.

And since this dedicated team has done regular lists and we look forward to saving more lives in the future. Well done, team!
