Getting Rid of the Scars

Three women received the ultimate make-over courtesy of Project Flamingo: breast reconstruction after mastectomies! This special catch-up list that Project Flamingo funded was a tremendous success. We are so proud that we could, quiet literally, change the scars left by cancer in the lives of these 3 patients. We are so grateful to the specialists from the Groote Schuur Plastic Surgery and Anaeathetic departments who generously donated their time and skill while we paid for theatre staff and consumables. What a beautiful day!
